DYNAMICS II

a showcase of piano techniques, wordless dialogues, everydayness and classical opera.

[and/or]

Without dynamics, art would be less affected, inexpressive, uninteresting, so to say lifeless, whereas if applied cleverly, it will lend expression and plasticity to a composition. There are Singspiel elements in this Romantic opera, although there is no spoken dialogue in it. The work was written during a short holiday in the country in the summer of 1821. It was not accepted by the Vienna Court Opera and will have its first performance in 2016 in the city of Groningen.
